Brittney and Bob

Meet Brittney and my partner, Bob! I met Brittney in San Diego, CA at the National Conference on Student Leadership. Being a fellow Kansan, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her Fort Hays State University t-shirt. We had an immediate bond and chatted for quite a while. I spoke to tons of young women and some really great guys last month at this conference and they were all very interested in making their campus as safe as possible for fellow students. As I told them, your personal safety begins with YOU! Be pro-active, don't wait for someone else to protect you from violence. Learn how to be a really BAD TARGET of crime. Be aware of who and what is going on around you, and if
something creeps you out, get the heck out of there!
